Antenatal Yoga and Birth Preparation Classes

I offer pregnancy yoga classes with a basis in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. This is an energetic form of yoga which strengthens the body while encouraging softness and flexibility. We will follow a set sequence each week supplemented with additional postures to get your body ready for birth. One of the benefits of a regularly practiced sequence is allowing you to connect deeper with you breath, rather than needing to focus on what posture is coming next. 

Classes consist of a flowing pregnancy yoga sequence connecting you with your breath, body and baby, followed by a deep, guided relaxation. 

We have 15 minutes at the end of each class to meet other parents-to-be, ask questions and learn tips, tricks, and techniques for aiding your journey through pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond.

Discover how yoga asana (postures) mirror active birth positions, how pranayama can aid breathing and relaxation in pregnancy and labour, and find empowerment and confidence through education, allowing you to have a positive birth experience, wherever and however that may be.

Classes are held through Zoom every Monday 18:00-19:15, birth partners/supporters also welcome!

Classes are £6.50 or book 6 for £36 (must be used within 7 weeks).
